2025 Dark Matter Malbec et Al

Dark Matter is a claret-style red built around Malbec, with Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional in support. The blend leans into a moreish, structured profile, letting each variety bring depth, structure and character. Fermented with a gentle hand and matured in seasoned oak, the aim is balance, drinkability and comfort at the table.

Medium-bodied and approachable, it shows morello cherry, blackcurrant and plum, with a lift of violet and a touch of baking spice. The palate is smooth and generous, with soft tannins, good energy and a confident thread of cedar oak adding warmth and length. Made for pasta alla Norma, moreish bites and a bit of midweek mischief.
